The Burning Hell is a Canadian indie rock/folk band formed in 2006 by Mathias Kom and Ariel Sharratt. The band has released nine studio albums, one live EP and multiple singles. They’ve been praised for their genre-bending sound blending of punk, traditional folk, and spoken word. They’ve toured extensively in the US, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and across Canada. In 2018, they released the critically acclaimed album Revival, in which they expanded their sound to include brass and strings. The Burning Hell continued to explore a variety of genres with their 2020 single “Rover”, which nods to classic soul and funk. The Burning Hell’s charm and energy have won them great respect from fans and music journalists alike.
