The Dangerous Summer is a rock trio from Ellicott City, MD, comprised of AJ Perdomo, Matt Kennedy, and Ben Cato. The band first formed in 2007, with their debut album Reach For the Sun being released in 2009. The sound of this band is an amalgamation of alternative rock, indie, and pop punk sounds. In 2011 they released their second full-length album entitled War Paint, and soon after signed with Hopeless Records. Since then they have released 2 more albums, Golden Record in 2015 and Mother Nature in 2019. The Dangerous Summer have toured extensively, including multiple headlining tours and tour dates alongside bands like Taking Back Sunday, All Time Low, and Yellowcard. They have dedicated and passionate fan base and continue to make music.
