The Lagoons are an alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California. They started out performing at local clubs in 2013 and released their debut EP the following year. Since then they have been gaining attention from their distinct fusion of melodic indie hooks and driving riffs. The band released two full-length albums in 2017 and 2020, respectively, and their most recent single "Light Up the Night" was praised by critics for its heavy synth and guitar-filled grooves.
