The Urge is an American rock band formed in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1987. Known for their dynamic fusion of punk, funk, metal, and ska, the band gained a dedicated following with their high-energy performances and hit singles like "Jump Right In." Fronted by vocalist Steve Ewing, The Urge released several albums throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, including "Receiving the Gift of Flavor" and "Master of Styles."
