The Velveteers are an indie-rock band from Colorado. Comprised of singer-guitarist Chelsey Louise, guitarist Jason Garner, bassist-singer-cornet player Sidney Saylor, and drummer AJ Stephan, the group has been crafting their rapturous brand of noise-laden rock for over a decade. Their debut self-titled EP was released in 2016 and was followed up by their full-length LP, Abracadabra, in 2018. Their latest release, 4 Walls, dropped in 2020, and features the singles “Hell to Pay” and “Ghetto Haze.” The band have toured extensively since their formation, sharing stages with the likes of HAIM, Sleigh Bells, The Joy Formidable, and The Kooks. Their sound combines '70s-style rock with a modern, jagged edge that has gained them a loyal fan following.
