Tikal is an ever-evolving 3 piece from Falmouth, Cornwall. Who draw our influences from the approachability and technicality of the more psychedelic side of the 70s and 80s jazz-funk and filter it through the calm, surreal surroundings of coastal life.

It's been an odd year for Tikal having started up just before lockdown, but despite this they've released a number of music videos and quickly gained popularity locally.

The group is made up of Taylor (drums) whose smooth playing style and use of non-standard percussion weave in effortlessly with George O's (bass) melodic and uniquely percussive playing style. The harmony is held down by the jazz and world-influenced guitar of George N.
