Tiki Taane is a music artist hailing from New Zealand. He gained a passion for music as a child, learning the guitar and keyboard at the tender age of eight. He was in a number of New Zealand bands before embarking on a solo career in 2001. Taane's discography is a mix of various genres, including reggae, dub, dancehall, hip hop, soul, and even classical. In addition to 10 original albums, Taane has produced remixes for many artists, including Beyonce, Stan Walker, and Kora. He has been nominated for an incredible 18 New Zealand Music Awards, and won the award for Best Male Artist in 2011.
