About Venus X
Venus X is a New York-based music producer, DJ, and GHE20G0TH1K founder. Born in 1991, Venus's musical career first started in the underground club scenes of New York City in 2009. Taking from her background in visual art, she began hosting DIY events to both show off her DJing skills and to create a space for marginalised communities. GHE20GOTH1K has since become an influential events series in the New York City nightlife circuit, with past events hosted in locations such as MoMA PS1 and The Standard.
Venus has released multiple mixes and has produced tracks for some of the US' most influential underground artists including Princess Nokia, Le1f, and UNiiQU3. Most recently, she has released multiple tracks and albums through the collective Club Chai, a record label she co-runs with Sham Palace.
