Vivian Girls is an American indie rock band formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 2007. The trio, known for their lo-fi, garage rock sound, originally consisted of Cassie Ramone (vocals and guitar), Katy Goodman (bass and vocals), and Ali Koehler (drums). Their eponymous debut album, released in 2008, quickly garnered attention for its blend of noise pop and punk influences. After disbanding in 2014, the group reunited in 2019, much to the delight of their dedicated fanbase, and released a new album, continuing to capture the raw energy and introspective themes that made them a staple in the indie music scene.
