Due to anticipated severe weather in the Charleston area, the football game between No. 21 South Carolina State and Charleston Southern, originally scheduled for 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2026, has been rescheduled to a noon kickoff at Buccaneer Field. (scsuathletics.com)
The decision to adjust the game's timing was made to prioritize the safety of student-athletes, coaches, officials, staff, and spectators. Fans planning to attend are advised to monitor weather conditions, allow extra travel time, and stay informed about any further changes to game day operations. (abccolumbia.com)
In addition to the time change, several game day operations have been modified:
Parking: Parking has been reallocated to areas farther from the stadium due to potential heavy rain. Shuttle services will be available to transport fans from these designated parking areas to Buccaneer Stadium. (scsuathletics.com)
Stadium Policies: Charleston Southern's clear bag policy will be strictly enforced at all entrances. Umbrellas are not permitted inside the stadium; fans are encouraged to bring raincoats, ponchos, and other permitted rain gear. (scsuathletics.com)
