About CF Montreal
CF Montreal is a professional soccer team located in Montreal, Canada. Previously known as the Montreal Impact, the team officially adopted its new name of CF Montreal in 2021. Since their debut in the Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2012, they have gone on to become one of the top teams in the league. In the 2021 season, they finished with the second-best record in the entire Eastern Conference. Throughout their time in MLS, they have been to the playoffs three times, reaching the final in 2016. In 2020, CF Montreal won the Canadian Championship, defeating Toronto FC 2-1 in the final. This marked the club's first major trophy in their 9-year history.
