New York Rangers is an experimental noise rock project from Athens, Greece. Founded in 2008, the group consists of founding frontman Kostas Miras and drummer Thanasis Tampas. New York Rangers combine elements of art rock, post-hardcore, and indie rock to create intense, energetic music full of emotion. The band has released two full length albums, “Light Shades” (2011) and “Voltage” (2016), as well as a number of EPs. New York Rangers have been championed by critics and have toured extensively throughout Europe. The band has earned a loyal fan base that continues to support them in their efforts to push the envelope of experimental noise rock.
