Heart is an American rock band from Seattle that was formed in the 1970s. It is comprised of two sisters, Ann and Nancy Wilson, who pioneered female-led hard-rock and metal bands. Throughout the 70s and 80s, Heart achieved numerous mainstream successes with classic rock songs like "Barracuda," "Crazy on You," and "Alone," all of which sold millions of copies in the U.S and abroad, and still receive significant radio airplay today. In the early 90s, they continued their pop-rock influence and released the multi-platinum album, "Brigade." Heart has achieved a total of 17 Top 40 singles, 6 Top 10 albums, and 4 Grammy nominations throughout their career. Although Ann and Nancy have taken a few breaks over the years to pursue solo projects, Heart continues releasing new music and performing live shows in the U.S. and Europe.
