North by Northwest (Australia) is a four-man rock band from Victoria, Australia. The band includes Conor Formosa (vocals/guitar), Jared Smith (bass/vocals), Max Spath (drums/vocals) and Nalu Robinson (keys/vocals). They have been performing since 2004, playing music that mines classic and modern progressive, alternative and pop influences. Their 2005 album, Natural Causes, was a great success, and they followed it up with Sky News in 2009. Since then they have issued a string of singles, appearing regularly at festivals and on tour in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Their music is passionate, melodic and ambitious, and they always put on an exciting live show.
