Rent (Chicago) is an American Hip-Hop duo from the North side of Chicago, founded in 2017. The duo consists of Delonte Blaize and Devonte Blaize. They specialize in storytelling lyrics that often cover topics of inner-city struggles, politics, and culture. Their gritty sound and soulful production has earned them a following in both underground and mainstream Hip Hop scenes. They released their debut album, "Everything Faces A Sun" in January 2020, quickly followed by their sophomore album, "Meat for the Lions" in April of the same year. Rent (Chicago) have performed to audiences worldwide, from the United States to Europe, Australia, and Africa. Their unique sound and timely lyrics have earned them recognition from Hip Hop fans everywhere.
