Alistair McGowan is a multi-talented English impressionist, comedian, actor, and writer. He was born in 1971 and is best known for the sketch show The Big Impression which ran from 2001 to 2011. He also voices characters in the shows Little Britain and French and Saunders. His impressions of major stars such as Gordon Brown and Orlando Bloom have made him a popular figure on the comedy circuit in the UK. McGowan has appeared in numerous other shows such as Have I Got News for You and the series Class Act. McGowan also starred in the 2019 film Phantom Thread. He has released three comedy albums, You're Not the Man I Thought You Were, Live at The Palladium, and At Home with Alistair McGowan.
