Jim Gaffigan is an American stand-up comedian and actor who is well-known for his signature comedy style, which often involves silly and surreal observations about life. He has released six comedy albums, including the Grammy-nominated Beyond the Pale. He wrote, directed, and starred in the semi-autobiographical comedy film, Super Troopers 2. In addition to performing stand-up comedy, Gaffigan regularly tours North America for his significant speaking engagements, often appearing nationwide with a combination of spoken-word performances and stand-up comedy. Gaffigan has appeared in a number of films including 17 Again and It's Kind of a Funny Story, and on TV on shows such as Law & Order and Portlandia. He hosts his own weekly podcast The Jim Gaffigan Show and is the voice of the titular character in the animated series Pale Force.
