About Jimmy Rees
Jimmy Rees is an Australian singer-songwriter and solo artist. He is best known for his 2018 debut album, 'Time, Time, Time' which reached number 8 on the Australian charts. His mainstream career began in 2014 having won the popular singing competition, The Voice Australia. After his victory, he released his first single, 'Big On Love,' which peaked at number 44 on the ARIA chart.
Rees' soulful vocal style has continued to gain attention across Australia, with live performances becoming increasingly popular and his second album, 'Kissing on the Sun' reaching number 3 on the ARIA chart. He has also provided the theme song for the children's TV show, 'Lachy Doley & Friends'. He was invited to perform at multiple music festivals in 2020, before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic led to their cancelation.
