About John Robins
John Robins is a British comedian and radio presenter who has been performing stand-up comedy for more than 10 years. His 2017 Edinburgh Fringe show ‘The Darkness Of Robins’ was his breakthrough, winning the Edinburgh Comedy Award, and he has since gone on to become a favourite act across the UK.
Robins has performed shows at almost every major UK comedy festival, including the Melbourne Comedy Festival, the Sydney Comedy Festival, the New Zealand International Comedy Festival and the Just For Laughs Festival. He is also a regular panellist on BBC Radio 4’s The panel show and has had guest spots on other shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, and Rich Hall’s Hoedown.
John Robins co-hosts a regular radio show with fellow comedian Elis James, and has recently released two comedy albums, both of which have enjoyed critical acclaim. A talented writer John has also written for 8 Out of 10 Cats Does
