About Newton Faulkner
Newton Faulkner is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer. His debut album Hand Built By Robots was released in 2007 and went double platinum in the United Kingdom, supported by the single Dream Catch Me. As of 2019 he has released four albums, with his most recent, Hit the Ground Running, released in 2018. His music style can be described as acoustic rock with instrumentation including banjo and harmonica. His sound has been likened to that of David Grey and Ed Sheeran. In recent years he has been honoured with an award from the NME for Best Solo Artist. He has also performed at many of the major UK festivals including Glastonbury, and appeared on BBC2's The Culture Show, demonstrating his guitar technique.
