About Pseudo Echo
Pseudo Echo are an Australian synth-pop band formed in Melbourne in the early 80s. Their first album, Autumnal Park, achieved triple platinum status and set the stage for the successful career they would later enjoy. The band’s single ‘Funkytown’ became a chart-topper in their homeland, and went on to massive international success. Throughout the 80s, the band released several more albums and singles, enjoying moderate success. In the late 80s, the band took a brief hiatus only to return in the mid-90s with a new album and a renewed focus on touring. They continue to tour to this day, playing shows around the world, and have recently released a ‘best of’ collection for new fans to enjoy.
