About Black Milk
Black Milk, born Curtis Cross, is a multi-faceted American rapper, producer, musician, and songwriter from Detroit, Michigan. With the release of his debut album, “Sound of the City” in 2004, he became known for his unique yet classic production style, rap flow, and authentic Detroit hip-hop. His subsequent albums, “Popular Demand” (2007), “Tronic” (2008), and “Album of the Year” (2010), cemented his position as a premier Hip-Hop producer. Outside of his solo career, Black Milk has collaborated with a slew of artists including rapper Royce da 5’9, Slum Village, J. Dilla, and The Roots. He has also released several critically acclaimed EPs and instrumental albums throughout his career. Black Milk has become a mainstay in the Hip-Hop scene through his groundbreaking beats and introspective lyricism.
