Black Jesus Experience (BJE) is an American funk-rock band, which formed in 2007 as the brainchild of lead singer/guitarist Adam Haney. Hailing from San Francisco, BJE mixes influences from funk, rock, hip hop, and soul music. Over the years, the group has become widely recognized for their high-energy live shows filled with improvisational jams. They have released two critically acclaimed albums, Blessing In Disguise in 2008 and Malcom Xperience in 2010, as well as a handful of EPs. In 2016, the group celebrated its 10-year anniversary with a compilation album, entitled, The Journey. BJE continues to tour across the US, Canada, and Europe, and welcomed their new full-time bassist, Chris Moore, to the lineup in 2018. With their unique blend of feel-good music, BJE promises to bring the fun and energy to any stage.
