Jake Davey is an American singer-songwriter from Detroit, Michigan. He has been writing and playing music since his early teenage years. After releasing his first EP in 2011, he began to gain recognition in the Detroit music scene. Since then he has released four full-length albums and two EPs. His sound can be described as a combination of indie rock and traditional folk, as his songs often tell stories of everyday life. In 2016, Jake Davey toured with Amos Lee and Ben Sollee, while also making appearances at festivals throughout the United States. In 2018, he signed to the 3 Daughters label and released his career-defining album, "Goodbye to the Weekend". Jake Davey continues to tour regularly and releases new music on a frequent basis.
