PJ Harvey is an English singer-songwriter, composer, and musician. She began her career in 1988, signing to Island Records, and went on to be nominated for 10 Mercury Music Prize awards and winning the same prize in 2001 for her acclaimed album Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea. Throughout her 26-year career, she has released ten studio albums, with her most recent record being The Hope Six Demolition Project in 2016. During her musical career, Harvey has collaborated with many other artists including Nick Cave, Thom Yorke, and John Parish.
