Alborosie tickets

Alborosie is an Italian singer, songwriter and record producer who has become a leading name in roots reggae music, championing a wide range of influences from Jamaican dancehall and dub music. Born Alberto D’Ascola in Marsala, Italy, he began his career at age 16 producing local dancehall and hip hop, and soon adopted the stage moniker Alborosie. He moved to Jamaica in 2001 and rapidly became accepted into the dancehall scene by working closely with and producing for the legendary Peter Tosh.

In 2004, Alborosie released his debut album Soul Pirate and since then he has released a further 6 studio albums, collaborating with Sizzla Kalonji, Queen Ifrica and Gentleman. His work has earned him global respect with his albums receiving Grammy nominations and winning the MOBO Award for Best Reggae Album in 2012.
