About Alex Preston
Alex Preston is an American indie pop singer and songwriter from Mont Vernon, New Hampshire. He began his musical career in 2013 when his debut single went viral and he had over ten million views on YouTube. After signing to Epic Records later that year, he released an EP which debuted at number two on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. His debut album "Motion" came out in 2015 and he followed up with an acoustic EP in 2017 that was critically acclaimed. He continues to make new music, and he was a contestant on the thirteenth season of American Idol in 2014, finishing in 8th place.
