Alina Baraz is an American singer and songwriter from Cleveland. She is best known for her work resulting in collaboration with electronic producer Galimatias. Her and Galimatias' 2015 debut project Urban Flora was a critical success, with Pitchfork, XXL Mag, and Billboard Magazine praising it for its smooth and dreamy songwriting. Baraz's solo venture, her debut album The Color of You, was released in 2018 and quickly earned her critical acclaim and fans across the world. Her groovy neo-soul sound blends together elements of jazz, R&B, as well as indie-pop. She's gone on to tour a variety of festivals, has performed at the Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival, and collaborated with numerous artists in the alternative, electronic, and R&B scenes.
