Alize is a French-Algerian pop singer and songwriter originally from Toulouse, France. She is known for her blend of world music infused with elements of Algerian music. She emerged in 1991 with her self-titled studio album, which spawned the international hit single “Moi...Lolita”. She followed up her success with her 1995 album Une Autre Histoire, which featured the hit single “À chaque jours suffit sa peine”. Alize has continued to be successful in her career over the last 25 years, releasing numerous albums, singles and EPs in both French and English. In 2017, she released her latest album L'Eternelle, which featured yet another successful hit single, “Asaabachi”. Alize continues to perform and tour today, captivating audiences all over the world.
