Angie Stone is an American R&B singer, songwriter, musician and producer. She rose to fame as part of the R&B trio The Sequence in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In 1999 Stone released her debut solo album, "Black Diamond," which quickly went platinum. Her sophomore album, "Mahogany Soul," followed in 2001, featuring the hit single "No More Rain (In This Cloud)," which earned Stone two Grammy nominations. Subsequent albums, such as "Stone Love," "The Art of Love & War," and "Dream," showcased her talents as a multi-genre artist, and earned her critical acclaim. Stone has since collaborated with top artists, and is an ambassador for the City of Hope Music Group. She continues to release new music, receiving respect from both her peers and fans.
