Aquilo is a British indie-electronic music duo from Silverdale, Lancashire. Formed in 2013, the band was initially a solo project of Tom Higham, before Ben Fletcher joined as a full-time member.

Since then, Aquilo has released three studio albums: Aquilo (2015), ii (2017) and Ghost (2019). Their sound is characterized by delicate, electronica-infused folk songs, with vocals reminiscent of Bon Iver and Bonobo.

The band has toured extensively, playing shows in the UK, US, Europe and Canada. Their songs have been featured in television shows like Skins, Riverdale and Made in Chelsea, and have become something of a cult favorite in certain areas.

Aquilo has received both critical and public acclaim, with their album Ghost reaching number 174 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and number 39 on the UK Albums chart.
