AXEN (originally an alias of artist Matthew Silver) is an indie-pop singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from London, UK, best known for his unique and intimate blend of RnB, jazz, UK Garage, electronica and spoken word. He first gained attention with his debut releases "Blink", "Dare to Dream" and "Melt Away" followed by his EP "Stardust", released in 2017. His second EP "As Above, So Below" was released in late 2019 and has been highly acclaimed for its distinctive sound and lyrical themes. Known for his heartfelt storytelling and mesmerizing vocal performances, AXEN has spent the last few years touring Europe and creating more music. In 2020, he was featured on a Canadian TV show, released a new single and hosted a series of successful virtual live performances. His music has been praised for its thoughtful and spiritual lyrics, and his live shows for their heartfelt and energetic vibe.
