About Bearfoot

Bearfoot is roots and bluegrass-folk group based in Alaska. Consisting of four members, the band formed in 2004 and has since released five full-length studio albums, two live albums and one greatest-hits compilation.

The band's music has drawn influences from traditional American, British, Irish, and Canadian music styles. In addition to their own songs and instrumentals, Bearfoot also performs covers of many of the original American old-timey songs they grew up singing.

The group has garnered numerous awards over the years, including three International Bluegrass Music Awards and one Grammy Award nomination.

They tour frequently around the United States and have also toured overseas in Europe, Australia and Asia. In addition to performing, the band has released instructional DVDs which provide guidance on how to play the instruments used by the band as well as music theory information.

Overall, Bearfoot provides a unique blend of traditional and modern bluegrass-roots-folk music
