Benjamin Walsh is an American musician from the city of Oak Park, Illinois. He has been making music for more than a decade, both solo and with his band Benjamin Walsh and the Citizens. He released his debut album Raptor in 2011, which earned him critical acclaim from outlets such as Rolling Stone Magazine, who applauded the thoughtful lyrics, layered production, and mix of different genres. His 2013 release Non Fiction saw him expanding his sound with soulful melodies and inventive instrumentation. He has since toured extensively and continues to make and perform music while reaching larger audiences with each release.
