Big Brave is a Montreal-based experimental music trio redefining the boundaries of the genre. Led by the creative force of Robin Wattie, they weave heavy, post-metal riffs into atmospheric soundscapes that explore the outer limits of sonic experimentation. They released their debut album Au De La in 2014 on Montreal label Arachnidiscs and signed with Southern Lord Records in 2016, releasing their critically acclaimed third album, Ardor. Their sound combines elements of noise, metal and ambient, making them one of the most daring and unique acts in the experimental music scene. Big Brave's live performances are gripping and intense, as they explore the visual and auditory sensation of sound. The trio is also involved in various side projects such as Besnard Lakes, Set Fire and Mosaics.
