About Black Mountain String Band

Black Mountain String Band is a soulful, modern blend of alternative Country, Bluegrass and Roots music. The band was created in 2005 by musicians Bee Kaser and Dan Kiser. Since then they have toured throughout the United States, performing in festivals and venues large and small.

The group has released two full-length albums, with their third album due for release late 2017. Their songs are full of stories about home and family, life and love, and thoughts on self-reflection and meaning.

Their music has a unique style, and the five-piece band is composed of two acoustic guitars, a banjo, mandolin, upright bass, fiddle and harmonies that intertwine in a complex and captivating way. Black Mountain String Band is a band worth checking out if you want to experience some soulful music.
