Blackchild is an up and coming rap and hip-hop artist from Brooklyn, New York. Though he has been active in the music industry since the late 1990s, his first official studio album, Local Royalty, was released in 2018. Since his debut album, Blackchild has released four more mixtapes and two extended plays. He has also collaborated with a number of well-known hip-hop artists and producers, including Ty Dolla $ign, 2 Chainz and Murda Beatz. Critics have deemed Blackchild's music to be soulful, creative, and lyrically poignant. His unique style of hip-hop has allowed Blackchild to build a strong fanbase across the US, and he continues to tour and write music.
