About Bon Scott
Bon Scott (born Ronald Belford Scott) was an iconic Scottish-Australian rock musician who is best known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of the Australian hard rock band, AC/DC. He joined AC/DC in 1974 and sang on their first six studio albums, including the iconic 'Highway to Hell' and 'Back in Black', after the death of their original frontman, Dave Evans.
Bon's hard rock vocal style and sense of humour were instrumental to developing AC/DC's sound and live performances. It was Bon's raw stay, catchy melodies and honest lyricism that garnered an ever-growing number of fans, and secured AC/DC as one of the most beloved heavy metal bands to date.
Bon Scott tragically passed away in 1980 due to alcohol poisoning at the age of 33. He remains an iconic member of AC/DC and in his short career he made a lasting impact on the world of rock music. He was inducted into the
