Butane is an electronic producer and DJ from Detroit, Michigan. His music combines elements of techno, deep house and minimal-tech, creating a unique, intense sound. Butane has released music on many independent labels such as Audiomatique and Mobilee since the mid-2000s. He has also toured extensively, performing in cities such as Berlin, Tokyo, and London.
