Cable Ties tickets

Cable Ties are an Australian punk rock band from Melbourne, consisting of guitarist Jenny McKechnie, bassist Nick Brown and drummer Shauna Boyle. After forming in 2015, they released their debut album Cable Ties in 2017 on Poison City Records. Their sound is a mix of frantic, energetic and explosive garage punk and post punk, combined with existential and politically charged lyrics. Their follow-up album Far Enough was released in 2019 to critical acclaim, becoming a top 10 record in Triple J’s Hottest 100 chart. Since then, they have supported acts such as Pearl Jam and Grace Jones, and been invited to play festivals such as SXSW and Primavera Sound. Cable Ties continue to craft experimental and thought-provoking music, pushing punk into unexpected places.
