Carl Weathersby tickets

Carl Weathersby is a blues singer and guitarist from Mississippi. He began playing guitar professionally at the age of 15, and went on to form his own backing band, the Southside Allstars, in 1985. Weathersby soon established himself as a highly skilled and respected blues singer, with his first album, Goin' Back to Mississippi, released in 1993. Since then he has released 10 more albums, including 2003's Bright Lights, Big City. Weathersby's music has been featured on compilations and soundtracks, such as Larry Brown's 2003 film Lightning in a Bottle. He has also had multiple performances throughout the US as a respected blues artist, performing with the likes of Bobby Blue Bland, Koko Taylor, Jimmy Davis, and other greats. Weathersby continues to tour and release new music today, and remains one of the modern masters of the blues.
