Charles Owen is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Tennessee. He began his musical career writing and performing for various indie rock and pop bands. His solo career kicked off in 2013 with the release of two EPs, and he followed them up with an album in 2016 titled ‘Forgiving Lights’. His unique style is rooted in folk rock and americana, and is characterized by deftly-crafted songwriting and huge, emotive choruses. In his live performances, Charles switches between guitar, piano, synth, and percussion to create an immersive, cinematic soundscape. Over the years, he has opened for acts like Ben Kweller and TV On The Radio, as well as performing at festivals such as SXSW and Bonnaroo.
