About Charlie Cunningham
Charlie Cunningham is an English singer and songwriter, originally hailing from Crewe, Cheshire. His brand of music is a unique mix of jazz influenced folk and classical guitar. After the success of his self-released EP ‘Lines’, his debut album ‘Lines’ was released in 2017 to critical acclaim. The record earned him various accolades, including a nomination for the Progressive Music Awards of 2018 as well as the opening act at the Maritime Music Festival in Copenhagen.
In 2019, Charlie had the opportunity to tour with artists such as Laura Marling and Rhys Lewis. He followed up his successful 2017 album with 'Permanent Way', a second studio album which was released in 2020. Although the album received some mixed reviews, it still managed to make its mark on both the blues and folk music scene.
