About Currents
Currents is an American metalcore band from Hartford, Connecticut, formed in 2016. The band is composed of vocalist Brian Wille, guitarists Cameron Kersey and Ryan Castellucci, bassist Greg Dunn, and drummer Chris Wiseman. They blend melody and chaotic and technical passages with thoughtful, yet diverse song craft. They channeled this energy into their debut full-length LP, The Place I Feel Safest, following their 2016 self-titled EP. Currents released their sophomore full-length album I Let The Devil In in 2019. Their most recent release was their high-energy split EP with Varials, In Flux. Currents have released music videos for singles 'Withered' and 'Euphoria' off I Let The Devil In and 'Tsunami' off The Place I Feel Safest. They have also toured extensively, supporting acts such as Demon Hunter and My Enemies & I.
