D-A-D (Denmark) is a Danish hard rock band formed in 1983. They signed to Warner Brothers in 1986 and gained an international following with their 1992 album, No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims. Throughout their career their distinctive sound has combined melodic rock hooks and arena rock riffs with experimental elements. Their music is often considered to be classic rock and proto-metal with elements of heavy metal. They are renowned for their live performances, being described as “explosive and dynamic” and “adorned by elaborate stage props and occasional theatrics”. D-A-D (Denmark) have released 13 studio albums, three live albums, 35 singles and 35 music videos to date. The band continues to tour and perform strong live shows.
