D12, also known as "The Dirty Dozen" or "The Devil's Dozen", is a Hip-Hop group based out of Detroit, Michigan. The group was initially formed in 1996, with the original line up including all six members of multi-platinum rap group Eminem, alongside Bizarre, Kuniva, Proof, Swifty McVay, and Fuzz. The group is best known for their double-platinum debut album Devil's Night (2001). The commercial success of their album helped the group to solidify their presence in the world of Hip-Hop. After the death of their friend and fellow rapper Proof in 2006, the group went on hiatus.
