Dakhabrakha are a quartet of Ukrainian multi-instrumentalists who combine traditional Ukrainian folk music with a modern, experimental twist. Founded in 2004, the group blends traditional instruments like the Vedmochka, tsymbaly, and Indian harmonium with contemporary production techniques and elements of classical, jazz, blues, punk, and ethnic music. Dakhabrakha has gained a huge international following with their performances in venues and music festivals across the globe. They have released three studio albums of their unique, innovative sound and scored a number of theatrical performances, movies and soundtracks. In addition to their own records and live shows, the band also collaborates with other musicians to share their unique sound with a wider audience.
