About Damien Rice
Damien Rice is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician best known for his emotive, acoustic-driven sound. He has released 3 albums: 'O', '9' and 'My Favourite Faded Fantasy'. He has achieved both commercial success and critical approval with his music, winning the Shortlist Music Prize in 2004. He has performed around the world, including at major festivals such as the Glastonbury Festival, Bonnaroo, and Outside Lands. He has also collaborated with many other artists, including Lisa Hannigan, David Gray, and Katie Melua. His trademark raspy, emotional voice and acoustic-driven music has earned him a large fan base and made him one of the most recognizable artists of his generation.
