Darude is a Finnish electronic dance music producer and DJ. During the early 2000s, he rose to international acclaim for his single "Sandstorm", released in late 1999. The song is considered one of the most popular and recognizable EDM tracks of all time and ranks as the #1 dance song of all time on the Finnish chart. Since then, Darude has released six studio albums - Before The Storm, Rush, Label This!, Stories From The Streets, Moments, and 10th Anniversary - and over 30 singles. He has also collaborated with a number of artists including Ed Sheeran, Eric Prydz, Seven Lions, and others. Darude has earned multiple awards throughout his career, including two MTV Europe Music Awards, for Best Finnish Act and Best Nordic Act.
