Dave Hole is an accomplished blues guitarist from Australia. He has released thirteen studio albums between 1987 and 2019. His style is deeply rooted in blues, but he also incorporates elements of rock, funk, reggae, and jazz. Since commencing his career in the late 1970s, he has earned four Living Blues Awards, two Chainsaw Awards, and a 2015 Australian Blues Music Award for "Best Male Artist". He has also played regularly in the United States and has even opened for B.B. King and Buddy Guy. His most recent albums include Goin' Back Down (2014) and Unleashed (2018), with a 2020 release of Skeleton Key.
